About us
You’re not calling a call center.
GK Financial Services is a small independent brokerage. When you ring the number on this site, a licensed agent answers — the same one you’ll speak to next year, and the year after that.
Why independent matters more than it sounds like it does.
An agent who works for one carrier can only ever show you that carrier’s plans. That’s not dishonesty — it’s the job they have. But it means the plan you’re shown is chosen from a shelf that was narrowed before you walked in.
We’re appointed with multiple carriers, so the comparison starts with your doctors and your prescriptions rather than with a product list. Sometimes the honest answer is that what you already have is fine. We’ll say that too.
How we’re paid, plainly
Carriers pay our commission. You pay nothing, and your premium is identical whether you enroll through us, through another broker, or on your own. There’s no version of this where using us costs you money.
We’re telling you this because the question sits unasked in most first conversations, and it’s easier to trust the advice once you know how the economics work.

Why I do this
I got into this because of my friend’s grandmother.
When she was dealing with cancer, Medicare was the last thing any of my friend’s family had the capacity to think about — and it arrived anyway, as a stack of paperwork none of them understood, at the worst possible moment. No one knew what questions to ask. They didn’t know there was anyone to ask them of.
What stayed with me wasn’t that the system let her down. It was that nobody sat down with the family and explained it in plain English while the decisions were still in front of us.
That’s the job now. When someone calls me with a diagnosis in one hand and an enrollment packet in the other, I know what that kitchen table feels like.

Where we work
We’re based in Indiana and licensed in AL, CT, FL, GA, IL, IN, KY, LA, MA, MD, MI, MS, NC, NJ, NM, OH, OK, SC, TN, TX, VA, WA, WI, and WV. Most conversations happen by phone or video, so distance rarely matters.
What we promise
Four things you can hold us to.
“Will I get passed around to whoever picks up?”
The same agent, every call. We’re small enough that this isn’t a policy, it’s just how it works.
“Are you going to push me toward whatever pays you most?”
No quotas and no carrier to favor. If your current plan is the right one, we’ll tell you to keep it.
“Will I hear from you again after I sign?”
A review every autumn, before plans change for January. Enrollment is the start of the relationship, not the end of it.
“Am I going to understand any of this?”
Plain language, and as many times through it as you need. Bring a son or daughter along if it helps.
Next step
Start with a conversation.
Twenty minutes, no obligation to enroll, and nothing to pay. Bring your questions and whatever paperwork is worrying you.
